As a DeepFunding recipient, we built a decentralized network on SingularityNET that makes it possible to create and share trusted AI apps entirely on smartphones, with attribution and ownership preserved end-to-end.
Context
We needed to bridge non-technical, globally distributed builders into the AI economy. The goal: publish, compose, and own AI apps from a phone, while keeping provenance, reputation, and economics intact.
Approach
- Decentralized plumbing. Models on Hugging Face, smart contracts on Polygon, and on-chain attribution to track ownership and usage.
- Storage and trails. User interactions stored as immutable trails on Ceramic; publishing as NFTs on OpenSea for portability and resale.
- Mobile-first. Entire creation + consumption loop runs on smartphones: prompt, publish, share via links/QRs.
- Governance and trust. Attribution baked into the flow (who built what, when, and how it?s used), with clear incentives for remix and collaboration.
Impact
- Lowered barriers. Broader, non-technical audiences can build and publish AI apps without desktop-heavy tooling.
- Ownership + attribution. Contributors retain provenance and can monetize their work across the network.
- Composable ecosystem. Builders remix and extend assets (prompts, models, components) with clear lineage.
